One of our wide collars. Beaded edge to edge across the face rather than in a single line, which is what lets a pattern this detailed actually work.

Turquoise is the colour that does the work here — it separates cleanly from almost every coat.

Getting the size right

Sizes are the fitted neck range. Because the medallions are spaced along the band, a bigger size shows more of them — the pattern is not scaled down, it is simply repeated fewer times on a short collar.

If the measurement lands on a boundary, take the larger of the two ranges.

How wide it will be

This is the most detailed pattern we make, and width is what gives it room to breathe. On the narrowest band the scrollwork is compressed; on the widest it reads in full.

Looking after it

The white beads are the ones that show dirt, so wipe them sooner rather than later — a dry brush and a barely damp cloth is enough. Don't soak it, don't machine wash it, and dry it flat rather than on a radiator.
